Our brief was pretty tactical: bring a lot of people in-store to buy Starbucks cherry blossom products.
Taking advantage of everyone’s obsession to see cherry blossoms that’s traditionally only available in Japan,
we transformed Starbucks stores into sakura groves with the power of AR and made sure
the magic of sakura was felt anywhere a Starbucks could be found.

The more people bought drinks, the more our cherry trees bloomed
this culminated in hanami viewing parties all across APAC
